Inside the AI voice contact center demo
· 4 min read · CoveScreen Product
A two-way voice agent that listens, answers in English or Urdu, keeps the call open until you end it — and runs entirely on the local engine with no account and no API keys.
Most 'AI voice agent' demos are a recording behind a play button. CoveScreen's AI voice contact center is a live two-way call: you speak, the agent listens, answers, and the conversation continues until you press End.
The demo agent understands English and Urdu, responds in the same language, and automatically reopens the microphone for your next turn. It feels close to a real support call because that is the point — testing whether the product idea works before wiring in a phone provider.
Everything runs on the local engine. There is no cloud dependency in the demo path, no account to create and no API key to configure. The same engine backing the demo is what a production contact center would connect to a carrier later, but the prototype proves the conversational loop first.
For buyers this removes the hardest part of evaluating voice AI: building a proof. For us it is the Lab philosophy in its simplest form — a working, touchable prototype beats a slide deck about what a voice agent could do.
