CoveCAPS offline PoS

CoveCAPS Safe

Offline PoS spooler + CAPS server reconciliation

A live edge-resiliency case study for Oracle MICROS Simphony: press Simulate CAPS Server Offline to flash the central server red and switch every edge workstation (US, UK, AU, PK) into local buffer mode as checks are SHA-256 chained into a spool; press Restore Network Uplink to trickle-sync all 1,240 buffered checks onto the chained master ledger with a cryptographic integrity verdict — while a background tamper auditor replays both chains offline.

Edge workstation territories

While the central server is offline each territory authorises into its local spool; on restore, the trickle-sync streams every buffered check onto the chained master ledger.

Waiting for ops activity — load the sample fleet, then simulate the CAPS uplink dropping offline to watch the edge buffers engage.

Sandbox isolation

This workspace is a stateful, visitor-scoped socket: your spool, master ledger and terminal stream over a dedicated SSE channel keyed to …. Buffered checks and restored ledger rows are SHA-256 chained and replayed by a background auditor — editing a row directly breaks the link and raises a tamper alarm.
