Digital Transformation

Readiness and roadmaps for meaningful digital change.

A measured approach to using technology to change how your organisation works — for the better.

Under the hood

A real-time view of how this is engineered, run and kept honest in production.

Implementation stack

  • Legacy systems analysis and dependency mapping

  • BPMN/process modeling for current and target workflows

  • API gateway as the integration plane to legacy systems

  • Event-driven backbone for asynchronous process hand-offs

  • Strangler-fig migration pattern for incremental replacement

  • Cloud-native target architecture with container orchestration

  • Change-management tooling for adoption tracking

Live handling loop

  1. Blueprint

A structural readiness blueprint maps capability gaps and sequencing.

  2. Architect target

The future model is defined around API-first, modular capabilities.

  3. Run phased lifts

Legacy functions are refactored and exposed through the integration plane.

  4. Retire

Each replaced system is switched off only when traffic proves parity.

  5. Embed

Adoption is measured and new ways of working are reinforced.

Production integrity

  • Strangler migration — never a 'big-bang' cutover that gambles the business.

  • Compatibility layer keeps old and new systems in step during transition.

  • Defined rollback windows for every release, verified by rehearsal.

  • Value milestones every quarter instead of a three-year mystery project.

Real-world use

A representative deployment of this service in practice.

Who it was built for

An insurer with a two-decade-old policy workflow (anonymised).

The problem

Quotes took days because legacy screens could not talk to modern partner systems; every change touched risky mainframe-era code, so the roadmap was frozen and new digital channels were impossible.

The deployment

CoveScreen produced a readiness blueprint, wrapped the legacy workflow behind an API-first layer, and started migrating capability-by-capability while keeping the old system live.

The mechanism

New channels call the API gateway; the gateway translates to the legacy core until each module is replaced; an event bus carries policy changes asynchronously, and feature flags gate each step so adoption is measurable and reversible.

Operational insight

Benchmark targets this is engineered to hold. Stats are framed as targets and SLAs — not fabricated outcomes.
