E-commerce Solution

Online stores designed to sell, scale and run reliably.

E-commerce websites and online stores built to convert visitors into customers — and keep working at scale.

Under the hood

A real-time view of how this is engineered, run and kept honest in production.

Implementation stack

  • Headless storefront (Next.js) for fast, flexible front ends

  • Composable commerce engine for catalog, cart and checkout APIs

  • Stripe / Adyen gateway integrations with multi-currency support

  • Inventory service with real-time stock synchronization

  • Edge rendering and CDN for global latency

  • Search and merchandising service for product discovery

  • Order event stream for reporting and fulfilment integrations

Live handling loop

  1. Browse

Storefront renders from a fast edge cache with live pricing.

  2. Cart

Cart state persists across devices and sessions.

  3. Checkout

Payment intents are created idempotently with currency and tax resolved.

  4. Fulfil

Order events fan out to warehouse, shipping and accounting.

  5. Sync

Stock and order data reconcile in real time across channels.

  6. Report

Sales and inventory flow to dashboards and returns handling.

Production integrity

  • Idempotent payment intents prevent double charges on retries.

  • Real-time stock sync with race-safe reservation at checkout.

  • Cache invalidation on price and stock change deletes stale views.

  • PCI-aware architecture keeps card data out of application logs.

Real-world use

A representative deployment of this service in practice.

Who it was built for

A cross-border brand selling in multiple currencies from one store (anonymised).

The problem

The template store showed only the home currency, checkout errors spiked during flash sales, and stock frequently oversold because the store and warehouse systems disagreed.

The deployment

CoveScreen rebuilt the storefront on a headless architecture, connected multi-currency payment intents, and wired the warehouse system into real-time stock synchronization.

The mechanism

Checkout creates an idempotent payment intent in the shopper's currency; inventory reservations are transactional and reconcile with warehouse events; edge caching serves the catalog while price and stock invalidations propagate immediately.

Operational insight

Benchmark targets this is engineered to hold. Stats are framed as targets and SLAs — not fabricated outcomes.
